Aconcagua, the highest summit in America, without a doubt the inevitable mountaineering challenge in the life of every mountain lover, both a physical and mental challenge that will put our strength to the test. Our Aconcagua normal route expedition is an invitation to explore and immerse yourself in the heart of the Central Andes and live an unforgettable experience with our staff in the colossus of America, with amazing views of the Andes mountain range and glaciers that fall from the top of the mountain.

We’ll meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel, where you’ll have a talk with our guide in order to clear any doubts and check your equipment. In the evening, enjoy dinner with the guides in a local restaurant.
Driving from Santiago to Las Cuevas, once installed in the cabins, the equipment of each participant will be handed over to the transport company.
This day we will transfer from Las Cuevas to the entrance of Aconcagua Provincial Park. Entry into the park and hike to Confluencia Camp (3,450 m / 11,319 ft). 3 hours of activity.
Acclimatization trekking to Plaza Francia to delight ourselves with the imposing south wall of Aconcagua, return to Confluencia.
We continue the ascent towards the Base Camp of Plaza de Mulas (4,350 masl) 8 hours of activity approx.
This day is thought to rest and recover energy and mandatory medical check at Plaza de Mulas.
Day of carrying equipment to Camp 1 Plaza Canadá and return to the Plaza de Mulas base camp. 6 hours of activity approx.
This day is intended to recover energy and concentrate the expedition on the days to come. We will have a medical check before starting the ascent to higher camps.
Climb with carrying equipment to sleep at the Plaza Canadá camp.
Climb to sleep at Camp 2 Nido de Cóndores. This day we will test our acclimatization and begin to gain altitude.
Up to sleep at Camp 3.
Summit day, our most anticipated day. We will start early in the morning (3AM approx.) to push for our final goal – the Aconcagua summit (6,962 m)! We’ll be ascending 1,000 meters to reach the summit and descend back to Camp Berlin.
Extra summit day, days reserved in case of weather events that do not allow the full development of the itinerary.
After a rich breakfast, we will take down camp and descend to celebrate at Plaza de Mulas (4,350 m). 4 hours of activity.
Descent from Plaza de Mulas to Las Cuevas to wait for the luggage brought by the pack mules. 8 hours. of activity approx.
Today we will transfer from Las Cuevas to Santiago in Chile and rest at the hotel.
The whole group will be driven to the airport (optional).

In order to avoid any injury we strongly recommend to all the expedition members to have the mountain equipment described below. Each piece of the equipment will help us on the summit day, which may be terribly cold (even -20ºC /-4ºF). The proper equipment is crucial to achieve our goal.
